2. Information Collection and Use
Location Data: SatAimer requires access to your device's location to calculate the correct azimuth, elevation, and LNB skew for satellites based on your current position. This data is processed locally on your device and is NOT stored or shared with us or any third parties.
Camera Access: Our Augmented Reality (AR) feature requires access to your camera to overlay satellite positions on the sky view. The camera feed is used strictly for real-time visualization and is NOT recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Microphone: Although the system may request microphone access as part of the camera API, SatAimer does not record audio or use the microphone for any purpose.
Photo Library: If you choose to export satellite lists as PDF or save screenshots, the app will request permission to save these files to your device.
3. Data Storage SatAimer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal identifiable information (PII). All calculations and visualizations are performed locally on your device.
4. Third-Party Services The app may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., within the satellite database info). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
